Iron Ore MSK Mitra
Laboratory Sample of Iron Ore is dissolved by boiling in 1 : 1 Hydrochloric Solution. To the boiling solution Stannous Chloride solution is added to reduce Iron with slight excess. The unused stannous chloride is destroyed by Mercuric Chloride amp; the reduced Iron is titrated with standard Dichromate solution using Barium Diphenylamine Sulphonate.
